STILL Social is an app for using social media with fewer distractions. It opens supported social websites inside a filtered in-app browser, called a Lens, removing surfaces such as Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts while keeping useful features like messages, search and subscriptions.

No. You open your socials inside STILL Social and sign in to your existing accounts. It does not modify the native Instagram, YouTube or other social apps. For stronger boundaries, remove those native apps or combine STILL Social with your phone’s built-in screen-time controls.

Yes. The Instagram Lens keeps direct messages, profiles, posts and search while hiding Reels and Explore. Plus adds controls such as Messages only and Hide stories. Social websites can change, so feature availability may vary.

The planned Free tier includes two active social apps, fixed distraction filters, a daily window and minute cap. Plus adds every supported app and custom controls. Pro adds stronger boundaries and Family mode. The app has not launched yet; final prices will appear in the stores.

With Pro, a parent can protect settings and extra time with a PIN on a child’s phone. Parents make changes on that device, and their changes take effect immediately. Remote family dashboards, linked child accounts and household subscription sharing are not currently included.
